    My memory

    My Memory

As a young child, I used to help my grandmother do lots of works such as feeding animals, doing farm works and washing clothes.

When I was a kid, I lived with my grandmother in a rural area. I enjoyed living in such quiet village because the air was fresh, the people were friendly and the food was so delicious. My grandmother used to raise many kinds of animals such as goats, chickens, duck, geese, etc. and I had to help her feed them after school.

In addition to animals, I had lots of farm works to do when it was about to harvest the crops. My grandmother planted rice, peanuts, sweet potatoes, and more, in different seasons. Helping my grandma in the field was quite a hard work for I had to work either under a sweltering heat or in an extremely cold weather---it depended on what seasons I was working in. However, the hard work would eventually pay off when the crops was sold and made lots of money for us. We would celebrate the harvest by buying plenty of delicious food and everybody sat together around the table eating that mouthwatering food. I loved the atmosphere; every family member ate, chatted and laughed together. It was the happiest time I had as a young child.
